Maria Martorana-Frank arbeitet seit 1990 als Dozentin an der vh. Sie unterrichtet Italienisch und Spanisch auf verschiedenen Niveaustufen und in diversen Kursarten. Ihr beruflicher Hintergrund ist ein Studienabschluss in modernen Fremdsprachen und Literaturwissenschaften an der Universität in Palermo und eine Ausbildung zur Spanischlehrerin an der Diplomatischen Schule des Außenministeriums in Madrid. Sie ist Autorin von Italienisch-Lehrwerken des Langenscheidt-Verlags und von Beiträgen zur Schriftenreihe des Zentrums für Sprachen und Philologie der Universität Ulm. „Arbeiten an der vh bedeutet für mich, in einem harmonischen Umfeld sehr viel interessante Personen kennenzulernen.”
