Gül Uysal absolvierte das Studium für Bildende Kunst in der Universität Kocaeli mit dem Schwerpunkt Bildhauerei. Ihr pädagogisches Studium erfolgte an der Minan Sinan Fine Arts Universität Istanbul. Sie unterrichtete verschiedene Genres in einer Kunstschule in der türkischen Metropole. Seit 2018 bereichert sie als Dozentin von kontiki das Portfolio der Kinder- und Jugendkunstschule in Schulen, Kindergärten und bei Flüchtlingsprojekten und bietet auch plastische Kurse an der vh ulm an.
