Paula Rodrigues Merkle unterrichtet seit 2006 Englisch als Fremdsprache. Sie verfügt über eine Qualifikation für den Unterricht von Englisch als Fremdsprache der Universität Cambridge (CELTA) sowie über einen Postgraduate-Abschluss in English Language Teaching (ELT) der Universität Salvador in Brasilien. Sie unterrichtet Englisch auf verschiedenen Niveaustufen und in unterschiedlichen Kursformaten. „Englisch zu unterrichten ist für mich mehr als nur ein Beruf – es ist meine Leidenschaft. Mein Ziel als Lehrerin war es immer, meine Schülerinnen und Schüler dabei zu unterstützen, Selbstvertrauen zu entwickeln, selbstständig zu werden und Englisch im Alltag effektiv anzuwenden.“
