Bárbara Moreno García unterrichtet seit 2011 Spanisch an der vh Ulm. Seit 2003 gibt sie Konzerte und Konzertlesungen. Ihr Diplom als Spanischlehrerin erwarb sie in der Dominikanischen Republik. In Paris promovierte sie über die lateinamerikanische Lyrik des 20 Jahrhunderts. Als Buchautorin schreibt sie Lyrik, Essais und Romane in spanischer Sprache. „Ich mag besonders die internationale, offene und multikulturelle Atmosphäre an der vh.”
